George Michael fan since:
A real fan from 1984. Wham! really got my attention with Wake Me Up. Before that, there were several
bands that had my attention (including a Dutch band called Doe Maar) and singers like Paul Young, and
I just couldn't make up my mind. Wake Me Up and the whole image around it definately woke me up…

...despite:
Hmm..difficult one…
Eh… eh… don't know really. Maybe despite the fact that he's "never rushed anything, and that's an
understatement". But then again, gives you something to look forward too, doesn't it?

Current five favorite George Michael/Wham! songs:
This is what I call difficult! Let's see:
1. Spinning The Weel - both the original version as the Forthright Edit;
2. Fantasy;
3. Star People - 1997 version and basically all the remixes;
4. Safe;
5. Kissing A Fool - my former no. 1, still there in my top five.
6. The Strangest Thing;
7. Hard Day;
8. Battlestations;
Are we there yet? How much is five anyway?

Five least favorite George Michael/Wham! songs:

Five best George Michael/Wham! videos:
1. As;
2. Father Figure, for the same reason everyone else does;
3. Monkey;

Life besides George / other interests:
Eh..I like to talk a lot :) I like reading, although since I'm on the internet, the only thing I read is my mail.
Photographing is nice; I wish I had more time to follow courses or so.
And oh! I like to write…not just emails, just stuff…I don't know.
Also, I'm a "regelneef": meaning that I like to organise and like other people say, push my opinion in
things :) This can be a bad habit too…take it as you like :)

George Michael/ Wham! concerts attented:
I went to see Faith back in 1988. Great! Because of my holidays in the summer of 1988, I didn't have
tickets for the big Faith show in the football stadium of Rotterdam (this should have been the fifth Faith
concert in Rotterdam that year), but that show was cancelled as George was recovering from throat
problems.

Songs I prefer George to sing live in MY bathroom:
All.

Favorite George Michael statement:
"I've never rushed anything…and that's an understatement"
and
" I'm not the first, I'm not the last..I'm just the biggest. You can take that anyway you want"

Most yummie look/image:
The short hair, the moustache and small goatee, like on the cover of the Spinning The Wheel EP.
Also, the longer flat hair as on the cover of the As EP and the pictures with George holding a glass of
white wine (does anyone understand what I mean with this? Don't think so…)

Most horrible look/image:
1. Faith, although I loved back then.
2. The long blond hair and the beard he had in 1985 :(

Best George Michael cd/lp:
God! I don't know.

Other music interests:
A lot to be honest. There are just some things I don't like very much, like rap music.

Favorite lyric line:
"Freedom" - ok, it's short, but that's it.

Favorite cover sung by George:
Past Time Paradise; I regret it very much that this song is not to be found on any CD or EP. I also like
Love's In Need Of Love Today.
Victims is a good one too.
